To all of our loyal customers:

After 22 years and with happy but heavy hearts, we announce that A Touch of Garlic owner Joe Rescia is retiring from the restaurant business and has accepted a new opportunity with another long- standing locally owned business in our community, Kittredge Equipment Company.

The A Touch of Garlic fan base is immense, with friends and alumni staff from all over. We have become very close to our extended A Touch of Garlic family and we truly appreciate all of your support. Our intention is to keep your favorite neighborhood restaurant going by selling the restaurant. So please spread the word of our search for a new owner to carry on our East Forest Park tradition of serving you freshly prepared authentic and creative Italian cuisine to the Greater Springfield area. Along with our Chef de Cuisine Brandon “Jerry” Webb and his 15+ years at A Touch of Garlic in the kitchen and our staff led by Sara Biscaldi, our fantastic bartender, manager, head server (and our niece), we are hopefulĀ  thatĀ  you will be able to enjoy all of your favorite dishes for many years to come.

Keeping with our reputation of always doing the right thing for the community, our plans are to stay open through the month of August. We encourage you to use your gift cards and tell your family and friends to do the same. So please stop in for dinner to say hello (not goodbye).

We look forward to seeing you over the next several weeks. Your loyal patronage and friendships will stay with us always.

Joe and Kara Rescia
